La Dirección Nacional de Salud a través de su sistema de salud conformado por dos hospitales y 58 establecimientos de salud de nivel primario tiene como misión ofrecer servicios de salud integral que comprenden el fomento, la promoción y prevención, y la recuperación y rehabilitación de los servidores policiales y familiares beneficiarios del Seguro de Enfermedad y Maternidad del ISSPOL.
